Activate Zen Thoughts To Change Your Life NOW
Do you want to live in harmony and peace, not mental struggle? Often, it's our thinking, more than our outer circumstances, that determines if we live in harmony rather than suffering. ZMH provides simple philosophy resources to upgrade your mindset.
We have a wealth of untapped programs in our brains. Instead, the human mind constantly runs unhelpful thoughts shaped by things outside us. Yet pathways to peace and self-awareness have been around for centuries.
The most important relationship you have is with your mind
More than our circumstances, our thinking often determines whether we live in harmony and achieve success instead of mental suffering.
When we find ourselves in a ditch of discomfort, we keep digging to find answers. What we need is a Zen ladder to get ourselves out of it.
The only way I found true joy, made better decisions, and took the right actions in life was to apply Zen thinking. It's not easy but very simple. If you consume healthy Zen wisdom it will bring true self-awareness and dissolve unhelpful thoughts. Changing your thoughts will change your behavior, which can change your life.

Our mindset has a massive impact on our lives. Don’t wait too long to discover how your mind is shaped to your disadvantage.
The always-on generation
We are so fortunate to have so much available to us today. Yet anxiety levels are high, and our minds collect heaps of mental trash.
Your mind is like a computer; what you consume determines your output.
The skill of discernment has been lost. The massive library of knowledge available to us can be overwhelming. We are drawn to things because they trigger dopamine.
We need to simple tools and tactics to reduce the clutter of our minds.
Our limiting beliefs
Your human mind has been shaped to actively work against you. But it's like buried treasure. Once you find it and start to see the patterns, you find freedom.
Our experiences add layers of behavioral adaptations. We feel fear and sadness in the present moment from our past experiences and future thinking.
We are born free, yet our brains are programmed with beliefs that are simply not true. Once these beliefs are formed, they are stubborn to get rid of.
Ancient wisdom has provided pathways to peace for centuries. We have lost touch with our inner being and our place in the world.
The secret to finding a more peaceful and intentional existence is freely available. It's all around us and inside us. We just need to reactivate what we already know.
Identifying any mind programming that's holding you back is a major first step in improving your life. These are harder to identify than you think; that's why I created this free workbook.

Tools to find more joy and freedom
From my own experience (read disclaimer), I recommend three pathways to practice:
1. Zen Mind
Activate your inner nature and separate out the ego-driven part of you that causes all your mental suffering.
- Observe the evidence that life could be working for you even when you think it isn't.
- Start to live with more gratitude, forgiveness, and intention.
- Find more alignment and communicate from love in relationships.
- Realize that love is peace and is the answer to everything.
You learn that triggers come from life events. When things don’t turn out the way you want. These challenges are the key to finding answers.

2. Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a simple, proven technique. Based on the idea that how we think about situations can affect how we feel and behave. It can help you manage your problems. By coaching yourself, you can change what you think, which will change how you feel and, ultimately, your behaviors.
If you are struggling and need something quick, CBT may help. More on CBT.
3. EFT
The first time I tried the Emotional Freedom Technique, I thought it was a waste of time. Often, it's not the tool; it's just whether you're ready for it.
It's a combination of gentle tapping on certain points of the body while speaking phrases out loud. I remember a day when I was tapping with a therapist, and it really released something from my childhood. Just like CBT, it's a useful skill to help you. More on EFT.
I can recommend CBT and EFT techniques.
Changing your thoughts will change your behavior toward success
You can unlock freedom that was unavailable before. Once you start to see how you talk and how your actions are not helpful.
For me, it's not a case of fixing something in me. I don’t need to add something. I learned that as a designer, often less is more. It's all about letting go.
I needed to let go of certain beliefs. Identify bad thought patterns created by the past. Through practice, I started to accept change. Accept that change is the nature of life.
It’s amazing what can happen when you get out of your own way.
Wishing you well,
Howard
